Men Without Pants est le projet rassemblant Russel Simmins, du Blues Explosion, et Dan the Automator. Entamé depuis de nombreuses années, il s'est enrichi de colaborations prestigieuges (avec des membres de Blonde Redhead, Yeah yeah Yeahs, The Pierces ou encore Sean Lennon) pour donner 13 titres 100% rock'n'roll, avec un son énorme, des guitares qui taillent dans le vif et des mélodies qui sonnent juste. Mais pas que. Avec un tel background, Men Without Pants n'est pas seulement un vulgaire "one, two, three..." ; la production est soignée et les arrangements font mouche. Side-project donc mais pas n'importe lequel.
