Certaines ballades ne sont pas sans rappeler les géniaux, et regrettés, canadiens de The Unicorns, ou Olivia Tremor Control. On voyage avec ces Anglais sur des pistes foraines, un univers bancal inquiétant parfois proche de Berthold Bretch, où singes savants et lilliputiens seraient exhibés en chansons. Un doctorat ès bidouillage dans leur poche et nous voila au bon souvenir de Animal Collective. Saupoudrez d'une once de Beirut pour le coté multinational, et teintez d'une originalité sans pareil, et goûtez un des groupes de ce début de millénaire.
