Experimental pop music

Avant-pop, avant-garde pop music or experimental pop music is a term to describe a type of pop music which uses conventional pop idioms like harmonic melodies, verse-chorus-verse structures in addition of little elements of experimentalism and avant garde music. It is also less rock related than the more well known sister genres indie rock or indie pop.
