Marasm

The purpose of the label is to gather graphic artists and musicians working on themes alike. The musical orientation is electronic in the wide sense of the word : electro, drum& bass, break-core and noise (or more...) and the graphic techinques are numerous (photo, painting, computer graphics...). The independence of the groups who participated as well as auto-production allow a greater artistic liberty.

A TEMPERA defines a pictorial work technique in the fresh, the elements then mix altogether to produce unexpected artistic effects.
Today, the artistic practices are multiple, frequently individual and quite often uni-disciplinary. A Tempera is the opportunity for musicians and graphic artists to meet ; the association becoming then the link between multidisciplinary projects born from these collisions between today's music, graphic arts and multimedia. These projects can take several forms : vinyl records or CD productions with specially designed covers and leaflets (Marasm 03), concerts with projections (Nous n'irons pas à Avignon evening), CD-rom, exhibitions... In that approach, the association seeks to establish partnerships with structures and venues likely to host exhibitions, concerts and other events.
