If Zonk’t preserves his trademark, namely big dub bubbles, frictional clinking, mechanical repetition, high-pulse sequences, maintained tension, he manages to exude a clever syncretism of past and present works keeping its coldness by borrowing some elements from the elegant IDM, filtered and sophisticated, powerful and jerky rhythmic à la LFO, saturated hip-hop/big beat drums on high tech microsounds, motives sometimes more playfull, airial dubby cocoon, pronounced melody, to end in a minimal electronic sound ,without giving away his intent on the next album.
