Thibaut DERIEN, already spotted in 2003 and 2005 for "Instants fanés" and "L'éphéméride", is back with a 3rd album under the sign of classy detachment, ironic half-smile and musical energy.
A very coherent album, with a sober orchestration but a stunning quality, between superb strings and wild guitar riffs making you feel like Enio Morricone or Tarantino.
The lyrics sway between omnipresent melancholy and distanced look, puns on words that hit the right spot and disenchanted elegance - the very trade marks of DERIEN.
