Strup X

Welcome to the laboratory universe of STRUP X !!! With a strong rock energy, STRUP X build long progressive tracks so as to reach and communicate a hysterical and contagious trance state. Musicians and technicians - mad scientists - dressed in white coats work on chaotic experimentations between techno beat and jungle-rock sound, post-apocalyptic lighting and video. In parallel to the musical research, the project focuses around video creations (loops and sequences projected on stage and broadcast on the web site).

On the road, the team is Dan Voisin (drums and programming), Arnaud Fauvel (bass and bass synth), Joël Davantry (percussions, vocals), Nicolas Méheust (keyboards), Julien Richer (guitar), Jean-Phillipe Debroize (vocals), Fabrice Bayard (sound creation), Julien Anton (light creation), Pierrig Menez (VJ) and Sébastien Heaulme (sound monitoring). The permanent members of the lab Basile and Corentin (video creation, internet site), Stef X (graphic designer, also bass player in X Makeena). The project is organised around auto-produced structure : SH 101. The team also benefits for most of them from their experience among band Percubaba and from the contacts and technical means of label Foutadawa (auto-produced band collective).
