Percubaba

10 years of live and more than 800 concerts proved Percubaba to be one of the main French live bands. With a rare longevity for a large band, Percubaba is an uncommon musical and human experience, A generous public, not less than 150 000 persons on AntistatiQ Tour between 2007 and 2008, showed their undeceive fondness for a remarkable live performance.

Constantly renewing its musical universe, Percubaba delivers a singular equilibrium, powerful and complex, of reggae, hip-hop and rock. New-found electronic tones bring also opportune digressions from dub to drum-and-bass. This band explores music without trade mark and prejudice; and is thus remarkable for the quality of its musical alliances and the strength of a show releases by 11 musicians.

Directly from the live culture of the French alternative bands, Percubaba also take its inspiration from hybrid experiences of the NYC scene, such as Balkan Beat Box or Gogol Bordello. On the West coast, Groundation riddims also nourish their purpose.
