A workshop with René Lussier (collectif Ambiances Magnétiques, Trésor de la Langue, Dur Noyau Dur, Keep the Dog, Fred Frith Guitar 4tet,...) and the kind look of Gilles Laval (Parkinson Square, la Douzaine, Chef Menteur, Triple G, rock department in ENM -music school of Villeurbanne,...) help to take the first step before the official and public birth certificate: the release of a demo in 2000.
Miss Goulash creates her own music, free and structured, open and powerful. She builds her own world as a reflection of each one's desires and influences. It's to be without a boss, without a leader, every one proposes, disposes, improvises, decides,... It's to be totally musician, continuously composer, arranger, player and performer, all in the same moment.
The repertoire goes on growing, looking around for a very dynamic rock, mixed with improvisations, jazzy and/or song arrangements, contemporary and/or pop harmonies, noises of our times,... between rigid scores and total release, between strange rythmes and the primitive dance of a rock'n'roll known as "savage" in the past.
The Miss have formed her character and practised all jobs: from punk cashier to gipsy dragqueen batter, from noisy wrestler to disco lecturer. She has gone through Europe, from big festivals (Sziget in Budapest, Jazz à Luz,...) to more alternative places (Pezner, Attack!,...). Sometimes, she has stood in some spots to share experiences, to meet and play with young musicians (Chaufferie in Grenoble for example).
Then, in May 2008, Miss Goulash put herself in SUT: Stop for an Unspecified Time... Noboby knows yet if it's for ever, or not, or if...
