La Roulotte

Founded in early 2005 the band La roulette is the story between two guitarists one who’s a jazz fan and the second one a swing music lover.
After a while rehearsing the duo meet two other partners a guitarist and a double bass player so as to built up a quartet !
Because stories are much more attractive when there’s suspense and reversals the roulotte’s one is no exception to the rule! But the band keeps a strong core around which additional musicians are welcome!
A violin came for a while and has been definitely replaced by an accordionist.
To sum up La Roulotte is 4 pairs of hands, 16 strings and one bellows leading you on the roads of nomadism and fair.
It’s jazz music that swings in the gipsy style! Where energy is mixing with sweetness!
Inspired as sources as diverse as Django Reinhardt (the master), la roulette offers a perfect blend of jazz music styles from waltz to other swings with spontaneity. The compositions interweave accordion with guitars even in the covers spiced interpretations.
