Pioneers and undisputed godfathers of the French Dub scene, Improvisators Dub have managed in 5 years to build a bridge between Kingston, London and Bordeaux. Always quite roots, their shows reveal as captivating as can be, warm and syncopated. Not forgetting the improvised aspect of their music which gave them their name, the Impros now show unequalled style maestria. Improvisators Dub's music has never stopped growing richer with fruitful musical encounters : from a first 3" produced in London by Junior Delgado, followed by a collaboration with the Disciples on album Dub & Mixture to a recent album recorded live at Bordeaux Live Act Outernational. With the participation of Jonah Dan (Bush Chemist / Disciples) and 20-year-old prodigy Improvisators Dub confirm this state of mind.
The 2 singers, following the pure Roots & Culture tradition, genuinely coming to an osmosis with the Impros' original dub which they adopted straightaway, naturally lay their vocals during the recording session last Fall at Studio Le Châlet. Also note the participation of Russ D. (Disciples) on several mixes. Fans of pure dub will also be delighted as every track on the album is prolonged by a dub sequence where Improvisators Dub let their style freely express itself : solid rhythmic steppa, harsh skanks, heavy bass, scattered with ethnic sounds and wrapped in a warm and enjoyable production. Super Vocal & Dub Session means two amazing singers, powerful dubs, high-quality mix... In a word, the cream of reggae is here in this delicious album for the new millennium, complete and open on the world...
