The band Extra Bokaya was reate in 2002. A five-piece : Muchacho, Popsy, Oxy, DJ Mudeley and Parker Love. All born in Ivory Coast, their fundamental musical style is Youssoumba.
Their début album « Qui Creuse Perce ! » was released in April 2004 in Ivory Coast with Ivoire Top Musique, arranged by renowned David Tayorault, (arranger for band Magic System).
2006 Participation on compilation « Mobilisation pour la démobilisation des enfants soldats » for Amnesty International. Extra Bokaya offer the rights of their track « Sida » to the association Aika for project No Child Soldiers.
2007 Single « Métamorphose », including tracks « injustice » and « Danse », commitment against injustice.
2008 New single 'Coupé – Décalé' with track « Epaulé »
