Ed Wood Jr

February 2008, on the ashes of No Hay deaz , Olivier was joined by Thibault (ex Fast Motion) on drums : Ed Wood Jr was born !
The recipe is quite simple : a guitar, a drum kit, a sampler. Between mathrock and noiserock !?
February 2009, a year after its formation, Ed Wood Jr are ready to present their new compositions on stage and multiply the concerts through France, Belgium and Germany. During the summer period, the new tracks are finalised. In parallel, the first 5 track EP (April 08) is re-released on transparent vinyl in September 2009, on label Synesthesic Experience.
The second record by Ed Wood Jr, “Ruban de Möbius”, will include 9 new tracks. It was recorded by Ellis Gardiner at Shiftworks studio in London in September 2009 and by Raphaëlle Duquesnoy at Noize Maker Studio in October 2009. Mixed and mastered by Olivier T’Servrancx at Electrik Box Studio in November 2009. “Ruban de Möbius” is released on May 1st by Swarm records and Uproar for Veneration records.
The duo is rehearsing their show for a tour in England starting mid-September.
