Dog Bless You

Jerky beats, alternation between sweet ambiances and agitated rhythms, a picturesque music, a worh at the crossroads of sample and more classic composition on instruments (piano, guitar, analogue synth.) : a whole as varied as his vast domains of inspiration.
Starting out as a DJ among collective Triple H, while composing bits of sounds at home, Samuel Ricciuti, aka Dj Samab, becomes Dog Bless You to turn his Hip Hop in Abstract/Electro combining Dowtempo rhythms, Breakbeat with experimental reminiscences and Ambiant.
Keen on solo work, DBY also relies on the encounters he has made by multiplying musical projects. Member of Komparce and Beat for Sale, D.B.Y. also deals with the imagery which illustrates and inspires his compositions, namely with a work on video and photography.
Now enriched by a more than a hundred concerts performed among his various formations, Dog Bless You has performed in many international electronic music festivals (Under The Snow in Montreal or Cellula Indietronica in Luxembourg), in venues as mythical as la Casa del Popolo in Montreal or more institutional venues like the Musée d'art Moderne du Grand Duc Jean (MUDAM : Luxembourg), to finally give life to his musical researches via visual and plastic installations (performance Camera Oscura / Nuit Blanche in Metz in 2009, performances for Alexandrine, France at 112 in 2006...)
