Defending since 2000 their personal vision of a rigorous and uncluttered rock music, DARIA is now rightfully considered as a spearhead of the Angers scene, after more than 150 concerts in France, Spain, Ireland and Canada, 2 EPs and a first instinctive and raging album "Silencer" (13 titres - 2006).
The four-piece charge again with "Open Fire ", new 11-track opus with the best production ever : recorded at Black Box (Angers) by Iain Burgess and David Odlum, mixed by J. Robbins (Jawbox, Channels...) at MagpieCage Studio (Baltimore , USA). With such sound masters, the quality fits the band's demands, both massive and percussive, sharp and cutting, like a sabre in a melodic sheath. Through incisive and catchy tunes like "Innonsense" (videoed by Vincent Arnaud), "The Mistake", "Life Proof Vest" or "Barcelona", DARIA show us they fully master their art and affirm their style, a thorough alloy of the tightest constitution and irresistible melodies.
