The precursory band of Jazz Funk in France offer us today their ultimate album of unreleased tracks recorded in 1979.

Alain Mion created the band Cortex in 1973 with Alain Gandolfi, drummer and great friend of his.
The album presented today will be the last, thus putting an end to a beautiful and rich story. These recordings are by far the most accomplished by the formation. The 100% 70's vintage sound remind us of the richness of this period and fills us with thousands of memories. No doubt that this album shall remain a landmark in the band's history and will elegantly mark the end of the CORTEX era.
Cortex is forever to remain the cult french band of jazz funk (Japon, Us, ....) often sampled, often copied but never equalled.
