Casey

Rapper Cathy Palenne aka Casey, born in Martinique, claims her protest lyrics high and loud in songs where she has a go amongst other things at violence and racism or the colonial past of France. This protégée of La Rumeur emancipate in 2006 with début album Tragédie d'Une Trajectoire, followed in 2010 by Libérez La Bête, after a collaboration in Zone Libre by French iconic Noir Désir guitarist, Serge Teyssot-Gay.
