For lovers of heavy electro-dub, Kanka's name is now familiar-but it's with a new dubstep project and a new name that the conqueror of dub returns:
Alek6.
More introspective, Alek6 introduces another interpretation of dub: With this first album titled Inside, the tempos are slowed down the bass is hypnotic and the tones are more electro than in his usual productions.

But the firepower remains the same!!

His paralysing sub bass, captivating soundscapes, skanks carved out with an axe, and articulate snare drums... altogether form an unstoppable structure!

Throughout all 10 titles of Inside, production is hard and direct and has nothing to envy -Even of the best of the English hits of it's type.

But Alek6 walks his own path and avoids tracks already slaughtered by others-because the distinct ability of ALEK6 is to succeed in combining both
the warmth of the original reggae-dub and the urban ambiances of dubstep.

Within Inside, the atmosphere is heavy but not filthy- The sound is aggressive but never cold.

To note just the same:
-- The presence of two titles with a more upbeat tempo that are going to tear up the dance-floors--The very stepper "Home" - and "Station" which is more drum-n-bass.
