These 3 layered and totally improvised escapes have heterogeneous roots - voice, then adding of a guitar and a bass with a pedal steel - are now put on record. It goes without saying that this Belle Journée (beautiful day) requires certain isolation conditions, peacefulness and attention to be fully appreciated. The visual contrast, between blatant luminosity and icy darkness perfectly encapsulates what is approached here. The textures intertwine, progress and collide on several levels but always with a care for evolution and appeasement to finally reach introspective meditation.
