Tohu-Bohu

Description

Six years after Rodeo Massacre, one year after EP Soleils, Ulan Bator are back with brand new album titled Tohu-Bohu.
A return to the sources with this album - conceived between France, Marocco, London, studio "La Sauna" in Italie and Chicago - where we find the dreamlike ghosts of Ego:Echo, the animal spontaneity of Végétale or the rage of Rodeo Massacre.
Amaury Cambuzat is today acompanied by James Johnston on guitar and keyboards (Gallon Drunk, Lydia Lunch, ex Bad Seeds), Stéphane Pigneul on bass (Object, Heligoland) and Alessio Gioffredi on drums (Dilatazione).
The cover, adaptation of an original work by Amercian visionary painting artist Norbert H. Kox, illustrates this opus which tells in its own way how we came to the most total confusion regarding our human relationships, favouring the appearance of social networks, sentimental disorder linked with the irresponsibility of world politics that lose touch with real life realities, the religious confusions due to a prophecy announcing chaos when all we are longing for is a better tomorrow...
