TB Funk

Description

"While urban parties frenetically look for new tunes to freshen up, Tombad comes to the limelight with a new album. It is seething funk with bass echoing that of Bootsy Collins, riffs swaying in, and creaking guitars. A frantic show full of heart-leaping spontaneity!
Jazz music came from the Blues which was considered as somehow devilish, provocative, and cheerful, but above all it made you feel like dancing. For over some years Jazz music has begotten a load of offsprings called Rock and Roll, Be Bop, New Orleans... and lots of grand children as well. When having a look at the family photograph one can see a boisterous young child who, definitely, does not come from the smartest branch of the family, but it doesn't really matter! Funk music, from auntie Groove's branch, is fidgetting rowdy and incurable... And it is just the way we like it.

At the end of this family portrait, TomBad appears to be the resurrection of this never-ending gene, bustling with joy and spontaneity- High staccato notes of guitares, chorus of brass, slaps of bass, a universally joyful music, that makes you smile and prompt you into dancing."
