"Orchestre école" (Orchestra School) imagined by François RAULIN, is a Brass Band including more than 25 musicians (tuba, sax, trumpets, clarinets, flutes, trombones...) keen on creations, encounters and concerts. “Micromégas ” gathers amateurs and future professionals in a project where artistic rigour has been bearing its fruit for several years now. Therefore, up to this day, 140 musicians from various backgrounds have been able to take part in the formation. Several have become professionals or are about to. This is the unique opportunity for them to perform live alongside musicians renowned for their creativity. And playing on stage with these artists is one of the best way to get introduced to the practices of improvisation.
Micromegas offer the public a repertoire specially dedicated to them with pieces where “paso doble” and “tango” flirt with festive, creative and colourful jazz...
