Creator of the abstract and sampling work of band Kaly Live Dub for more than 10 years, Uzul surrenders to the attraction of Dubstep as soon as he started to get out of the London suburbs. The pressure of infra-bass, the gigantic snare drums, the syncopated measures and the slowed up tempo of the genre found their place almost instantly inside his compositions.
Rapidly, he settles his solo talent as one of the rare performers on the Dubstep scene and is spotted by the cream of British DJs and producers with whom he regularly shares the stage. Renown prodigy Skream gratifies him with a remix of « Under Pressure », a project decomposed into 2 LPs on Dub Technic, at the Fall of 2009, thereby greeting a unique hyperactive artist.
Today, Uzul is back with « Ruffneg », a track assured to overcome even the most reluctant of dancers, where the beat is straighter and more incisive ; another heavyweight also produces a remix : N’TYPE, head of label Wheel And Deal Records, co-founder of Sin City Records, Dj and multi-awarded producer in England, radio host on mythic radio Rinse FM,… thereby signing a first remarked appearance on a French label.
