After two years of hard work, Ridiculum Vitae, the first album of the band Vladivostok from Saint Herblain (France), is released in June 2006 under Creative Commons licence. Hand-made from recording to distribution, with the Do It Yourself spirit as a golden rule, the record astonishes with its weird mss and brutal force, surprisingly not disadvantaged by its cheap production so as to better underline the band's work on its own world.
Among the hit tracks, hip-hop tune "A la recherche du Nouveau Chtard", punk anthem "Crevard", electro indus "Consomme" and the finishing disco metal maze "Le Train Fantôme", song that at this times ends each gig during more than twenty minutes.
4 bonus tracks allow the members to express themselves alone, during 4 free minutes: the famous "Vladivostok playtime" is like a creative outlet that will remain on the following records. Since this first album, Vladivostok doesn't try to copy anyone and turns out to be a unexpectable band avoiding clichés.
