Les Boucles Etranges leaves their first album on the label Electro Lab Factory. After a multitude of maxis on various labels, such Network 23, Hokus Pokus, Sub Radar or War, and some participations in compilations. The ten years result of techno, the reflection of a particular sound environment which they knew to patiently work out with the wire of the multiple services live. The starting point of a new stage for these discrete duettists.
Difficult to write the history of a duet which cultivates anonymity like religion, the unforeseeable one like virtue. Les Boucles Etranges evolve/move in the universe techno, within a sphere free party which they attended a long time, since their Epiphany techno in 1992. It was at the time of the arrival in France of Spiral Tribe, the mythical English tribe which made devastations in the spirits of the frenchy' S...

Fleur & Chris do not escape the rule: their group of rock'n'roll passes to the wall cupboard, the duet invests the technological universe and starts to develop this hypnotic sound, true trademark which fidélise of the increasingly many amateurs.
To confront itself with the dance floor, simplest, they are the free: diagram opened scene, where only the talent serves as revealing. it goes. With the passing of years, Les Boucles Etranges are seen invited in various turnips, run the electro events, invest the clubs gradually. Tape acts as mouth with ear, are diffused with abundance, are exchanged with airs of conspirators. Because around the duet a legend is created: the techno also likes the rumours, the mysteries. Les Boucles Etranges leaves some maxis on the legendary label Network 23, which pokes the spirits.It is right a history of meeting, of respect... They are seldom delivered to the media... Except through the live one, discs, sounds, these loops of hypnosis grafted with strange sonorities, which captivate the teufeurs of all horizons.

Les Boucles Etranges practise the live improvisation. Denature the concept of duration, launch samples and loops ad infinitum, playing several hours sometimes. No the creation of piece to the clean direction of the term, but the development of a climate, an environment carrying the dancers towards another dimension. Les
Boucles Etranges seek the exchange, the contact, with their audience.

So far, the duo had agreed to release only one CD in 2002 « Paysage spatial Imaginaire » ( "Imaginary Landscape Space"). The release of "Portal 46" means a lot: an event in the band's evolution and an important contribution to music lovers of the underground.
