Début album by Lyon-based collective from Jarring Effects, Opus Incertum revealed on its release the emergence of a real new French dub scene.
Entrancing samples and oriental strings, reggae/roots sounds topped with undeniable electro/hip-hop influences, the five fellows deliver a perfectly trippy dub music, with deep basses, which sublimates its magic in live, the stage performances of the band being every time as stunning as ever.
The album will grow on you, every time you'll listen, through its multiple sonorities and surprising orchestration. Namely Delhi/Katmandou and its bewitching vocals and the great Dreadfull Bass that looks towards jungle. You know now what's left to do.
