No Fear

“No Fear” has been released on Cheap Satanism Records and features special guests Dana Schechter (Bee and Flower, The Angels of Light…) and Eugene Robinson (Oxbow).
The album’s sound is raw and organic, and it’s mood very different from the bitter-sweetness that can be found in the band members’ other projects. Diabolita – Pete Simonelli from Enablers gave her this pseudonym – is also a member of Keiki and Cha! plays in Lem. The lyrics emphasize Baby Fire’s dark side: some songs were influenced by Ottis Toole’s penchant for human flesh (“Everybody’s Got a Hungry Heart”, “I Love to Cook”…), others evoke the obsession of a teenager with the ghost of a deceased alcoholic rock star (“Sober”) or were inspired by the madness of Timoty Treadwell (“Insect/flower”).
