Influenced by Hip Hop, Techno and Rock alike, Tambour Battant duet is one of this acts that make all barriers fall. Feed to Bass music, Ben and Chico just can’t stop searching, looking for new music to extract the best of it. Combining experiments and efficiency on a electro hip hop basis, the duet is now looking at electro-house, glitch hop, fidget, dubstep and even baile funk.

Elected best Electro newcomers at French Festival Printemps de Bourges, they have toured France for the last couple of years, leaving excited crowds behind. After their critically acclaimed remix for Missill released on Citizen records beginning of February, Tambour Battant strikes back with an EP that's got the best of both world: UK bass and French Touch, house and nu break, somewhere between Jack Beats and Mr Oizo.
A-Side's On the Ground has been termed “a 2010 version of Mr Oizo's legendary « flat beat »”, with its typical wahwah bass line, combined with an electric house beat and excited vocal samples to hype the crowd. This track simply never stops going, taking only a short breathe on the breakdown. A perfect club banger.
On the flip Handz up starts with huge snaps and aerial electro lead synths that set the mood for another Tambour Battant banger. Their signature: staccato synths and clipped vocals, keep putting the pressure till the end.
