After a first interesting ep Fragments, Noone, multidisciplinary artist, is back with his first album Grenadine. An invitation into his acidulous fantastic world where addictive tones and enchanting pop songs blend together seemlessly. Eclectic as ever, this long format jumps around at supersonic speeds from genre to genre.
If "Fatchococake" is a true call to the dancefloor with a bassline whose only purpose is to break your legs, "4 years" hits us with moments of grace thanks to a charming music box melody. The true climax of the album is "Just because of has little water" with the appearance of singer Nekochan, giving us a moment of a seldom equaled emotion. Noone confirms his genius ability to compose simple and catchy melodies with "Burn in Hell" and "Virgo Cluster" which, from the very first notes, sticks in your head.
Noone's world is one way too vast to discover in one listening; it's like putting the listener on a frantic roller coaster. Once the magic begins it will make you smile, catch you in its bliss and not let you go until the ride's over. A musical trip rich in emotions that, in the end, will make you want to grab another ticket.
