Fatalisme et anorexie sociale

Coming from the depths of Seine-Et-Marne (77) and including former members of DICE CURSE and MISSPENT YOUTH, DOLORÈS RIPOSTE very early made the choice of French lyrics and direct punk-rock combining refined melodies and exultant electricity. With their first 4-track demo, "Imagine le Bordel", in June 2006, the three-piece ( Fred (guitar / vocals), Krostif (bass / backing vocals) and Adrien (drums), already draw attention by giving out 1500 copies of this CD for free during concerts. "Sarcasmes et mauvais souvenirs", their début album, was released in June 2007 on Guerilla Asso., which was kind of meant to be due to their proximity with GUÉRILLA POUBELLE (also a three-piece) and the wave of new punk combos that go with it (JUSTIN(E), LEPTIK FICUS...).

"Fatalisme et anorexie sociale", second album written in a kind of emergency, is released on 10 November 2008 on CRASH (CRASH CD 88), still in partnership with Guerilla Asso. Concise and rapidly executed, its 14 tracks (+ 1 ghost track) are pure thunder, with massive drums and efficient bass lines, well crafted refrains and high pitched vocals for the most devilish pop recalling PKRK or ZABRISKIE POINT, the American hardcore melodic scene, as well as the early days of VULGAIRES MACHINS...
