Sylvain Chauveau manages with obvious grace to serve and magnify the music of Depeche Mode. He uses to do so simple efficient tricks. Punctually, Sylvain Chauveau dares to de-construct ("Freelove"), but he really shines through minimalism by underlining the emotional simplicity of hits like "Policy of Truth", "Never Let Me Down Again", "The Things You Said" or "Home".The tribute is even more touching as it is humble, and gives you the urge to go through the whole discography of the band, starting with the excellent "Playing the Angel".
