Diesel Dead Machine

The recent vinyl EP "Bobby Fischer" announced it and the band's second album "Diesel dead machine" confirms it : Zëro take it to the higher level without losing their ability to perturb and develop uniquely rich arrangements. The touring has brought its share of maturity and the rough energy of their live performances is here fervently rendered, the sound of Zëro gets bigger and more precise.

No need for high technology to do things well; Here, things are done the way they've always been done, live band sessions, between total rigour and totally laid-back attitude, the sound remaining the only motive for perfectionism and obstinacy. Watching them live in concert says it all.
And this is where the message of Zëro is revealed, approaching with a total freedom of speech what rock means to them : a mixture of cultures and influences where early Devo's punk, Sun Ra's jazz and Captain Beefheart's blues are no strangers but rather completely assimilated.
