Des courbes de choses invisibles

The Telefax project was born in 1999, in the computer-mind of Tönky, night hard worker, coffee addict graphic designer, always up early and stuck to his machine. Dramatic micro-constructions, deserted fanfares, solo electro music project. Shortly before summer 2000, a burnt CD is transferred via the post. The seal indicates a small village west of the Aveyron in France, as well as the time when the parcels have been sent. 4 musicians join the project: francisco esteves (EXP), mika.a, salvestri, guimo (moan / rio torto).

The first works of the band start in 2001 with the soundtrack to a pixelized holiday movie : by the coast of Sicily. After a musical year of preparation, the recording of the album takes place in january 2002. For 20 days Thomas Mery, ex-Purr (Prohibited Records) will forge the electric, acoustic and electronic matter for a hybrid work, recorded on analogical tape but overlapped by numeric sequences... MM singer of Playdoh joins the band (Our Talk, Rose, Des poussières, Jusqu'aux grands ports...). Live mixing on the analogical console, no possible amendments. This « rough material» will not be softened after the production. The mastering of the album goes in December 2002 to Rudy Coclet, from Rising Sun - Brussels (sharko, arno).
