Recorded in Berlin, in November 2009, Bastet borrows its name to the feline Egyptian goddess.
A goddess with two faces : As a cat, she is the musician goddess of joy and childbirth. As a lion, she is the goddess of war.
Therefore the album is like a real UFO on the French musical scene.
The French songs deliver very comprehensible messages, recalling love, party, and fashion.
The album close to fashion and electronic music is new wave, electronic, cold, with unpredictable tropical echoes. An ambivalent album, at the same time dark and powerful, minimal and romantic.
