Recorded in 2003, « La Banlieue chante » id the second album by Raze City Plage (after « Les Enfants de la Planète »). Firstly released in the Ivory Coast with the support of Alpha Blondy, it hits France in 2004.
Exotic and catchy, « La Banlieue Chante » gathers rhythms and sonorities of African music. A sunny music with involved lyrics in French and in English, Raze City Plage gives once more a voice to the suburbs.
