One year after, the band comes out of the studio with a second full-length, composed of ten titles exploring a new writing process. Spinning off the depth of down tempo into powerful mesmerizing melodies, they release overflowing energy with concise and powerful songs while conserving their dream-like personality, drowned by reverb and hindsight lyrics. Oscillating between contemplative thinkings, lost dreams, and thirst of life, MONTREAL ON FIRE can be pegged as antipop, finding with its inner rhythm, its energy with which to survive, bursting out, bringing out these emotions. This recording brought forward with fully grown songwriting and the passion of deep atmospheres, adding layers of fog and still be catchy and melodic.
