In 2011, Cosmos70 are back with second album A Poet with Nothing to Say, finally delivering a sequel to Voices released on BEE Records in 2008. 3 years in the making, this new opus presents a more psyche-pop-rock energy for a brilliant and sensitive result with Michel Robiche as a singer on 4 tracks : In my Bones, the psychedelic Youth, The Poison or the catchy Zombie Nation, replacing for a while the synthetic or sampled voices so dear to the band. This new piece of work sounds more luminous and warm than before : Selma and its ethereal mandolins and The Wave with its gigantic hallucinatory tidal wave. Either rock (Turmoil), softly naïve (Merry-go-Round) or more symphonic (Sea of Rains and Holy Wheel), the music by A Poet with Nothing to Say is full of colours that describe the different facets of a same world.
The CD leaflet artwork was conceived by Aurélien and combines psychedelism and optical art.
A jewel !
